Located about 30 minutes away from the Old Dutch Fort in Galle, Cape Weligama is situated along the coconut palm filled curvaceous headlands of the Southern coast of Weligama. The town which is famously known for its Bay area is about 4.5 km away from Mirissa and about 152 km away from Colombo. The Southern Highway allows travellers to arrive at Weligama in less than two hours. Air taxi transfers can be organized from the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake to a nearby seaport cutting your travel time by about 30 minutes or more.
